Hi there,
My name is Jess and I am the founder and creator behind Scrunched Blossom. Located in Gunnedah NSW, I am married to a wonderful supportive husband and am a busy mum of 2 beautiful little girls. I am currently on maternity leave and running my little operation from home. Between daycare drop offs, nap time cuddles, feeding and working around my busy farmer husbands schedule I make scrunchies and more.
Scrunched Blossom started from a simple idea I had of making Christmas gifts for my family in 2021. I began searching for a local sewing class so I could refine my skills. Then, for my 30th birthday I was lucky enough to receive a sewing machine as a gift from family. I instantly loved using the machine to put my creativity into action (once my husband helped me thread the machine, ha!)
I am so lucky that my family has had some incredible women who knew their way around a sewing machine better than I ever will. I've been passed down all their sewing items, I certainly wish my Nana could see me now.
I got sewing straight away with my first item being a SCRUNCHIE. I Love scrunchies and have so many (even more now). My oldest daughter also has quite the love for scrunchies and anything matching her mama. Making a mini & me range seemed inevitable.
Not long after, I was approached by a Gunnedah boutique wanting to stock scrunchies made my a local provider so I got my creative hat on and came up with a Christmas range and a floral mini & me range.
From there, Scrunched Blossom was born and I cannot wait to see where this takes me. I truly hope you enjoy the range as much as I have loved creating it.
